RETURN POLICY

Returns: Faulty or damaged goods.

We observe the Consumer Guarantees Act. If the products you buy from us are faulty or not fit for purpose, we will replace the product, or refund the cost of the product when it is returned. We will also refund the cost of delivery, if this was part of the purchase cost.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment) or bank account.

Returns: items damaged in transit

If your items arrive damaged, please keep all the contents including the packaging or parcel that the items arrived in. Please contact us via email as soon as possible to info@ecogeekco.co.nz

If the products are faulty or damaged when they are delivered to you, please contact us within seven (7) days of receipt of goods and we will arrange to replace the damaged product(s) at no additional cost to you.

If we are unable to supply a replacement we will refund you for your purchase. We are likely to need the faulty/damaged product returned to us, if so we will discuss and organise shipping at our expense when you contact us.

Returns: Item no longer wanted / Non-defective product.

If you wish to return a purchase without any defect, then it is at our discretion whether we will accept it and refund your money. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. You may also be charged a $50 restocking fee to cover admin, credit card charges and handling.

Manufacturer’s warranty

Many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty - often this is a standard one year warranty.

The Atlantic Tatou radiant panel heaters have a seven year manufacturer’s warranty.This warranty excludes damage by neglect, shipping or accident and any damage due to incorrect installation, use or purposes other than those intended or failure to observe the instructions. Installations

If we have supplied and installed equipment into your home or business that’s not working as it should then we will work with you to rectify the issue in a smooth and speedy manner.

Most of the time equipment settings simply require some calibration. If it’s an oversight on the design or installation of the equipment than we will correct the issue at our expense.

Should the equipment not perform as it should due to retrospective building alterations, site usage changes or incorrect usage than the customer could be liable to cover cost for any alterations or repairs.
