For New Zealand this is one of the most important cables to have available with your charger. This allows a common Electric Vehicle such as a Japanese Nissan Leaf of Mitsubishi Outlander to charge from a Type 2 Socket.  

This durable cable is designed to work with Mode 3 Type 2 IEC62196 sockets. 

This is suited to a 32a Amp single phase charger and would be the most common type of cable for most electric vehicles.
